So for the second year in a row, the Campbelltown City Challenge walk has been cancelled.  We got a bit closer to running the event this time though, having made it to the actual day before the call was made.  Very disappointing considering all the work that had gone into the preparations, but a very heavy and windy downpour at around 6:15am on the morning inundated the track and made for soggy and cramped conditions in the reduced size marquee.

A BIG thanks to all the fantastic Campbelltown Joggers members who attended to volunteer on the day, with a special shout-out to those who sweated it out on Saturday lugging steel fences and handing out race bibs to hopeful participants.

Also a big thanks to Campbelltown City Council event staff who helped make the best of a disappointing situation.

Really looking forward to 2022 with a full feature Challenge Walk!
