A. No you do you do not need to be a member to participate in our club runs. You are most welcome to run with us for a while before you pay the membership fee. Note: Non-financial members are not eligible to score points in the Club Championship races.
Q. What is the cost of the Membership Fees?
A. Annual Membership Fees are $25 for an adult, $10 for a junior and $55 for a family. Membership Fees are due at the beginning of each year.
Q. Are the club runs held if it is raining?
A. Our Club Runs are held in rain, hail or shine. It is a rare occasion that a club run is cancelled due to bad weather, there have been a few cancelled on Wednesday nights in winter due to the cold and wet weather. It is good to train in all conditions because one day, that fun run you have entered may be held in adverse weather conditions.
Q. What age do my children need to be to join in on your Club Runs?
A. The Campbelltown Joggers Club cannot accept responsibility for younger children participating in our Club Runs due to the dangers of running on public roads. Young children can run with a parent. The only suitable run we have for younger children is the Tuesday night track run. We also recommend Phil Austen who coaches middle distance running for juniors.
